Photograph of a church wedding ceremony-cum-"dedication" (christening) and taken during the "dedication" portion of the ceremony which preceded the formal marriage service. Sarah Willen (right) is acting as the "babysitter," which included both the honor of being part of the bridal party and the responsibility of taking care of the child. The photo was taken just before the grantee was about to hand the child over to the pastor (with microphone) to be formally named and blessed. The location of the photo was one of the dozens of small Evangelical churches that sprung up in South Tel Aviv throughout the 1990s to serve the growing population of undocumented West African migrant workers.
