How to Write a Successful Grant Proposal

The Foundation is holding a grants workshop where we will be talking about our programs and giving you advice and tips on how to make sure your grant proposal is as good as it deserves to be. To attend this workshop pre-registration through the AAA website is required. AAA Presidential Session: Indigenous Experience Today (A Wenner-Gren Panel)

The question of indigeneity very much links to the guiding themes of difference, (in)equality and justice for the 2007 AAA meetings. As a follow-up to a newly published Wenner-Gren Foundation-sponsored anthology called “Indigenous Experience Today,” this panel that will bring together prominent scholars to explore indigeneity in its varied contexts and expressions. The papers will explore the shapes, contradictions, and possibilities of 21st century native culture and politics. The panel will include both native and non-native scholars, and their presentations will explore indigeneity's trajectories in different parts of the world. Panelists include: Kaushik Ghosh, Ayºe Gül Altinay, Charles Hale, Tania Li, Mahmood Mamdani, Sandy Toussaint and others
