Presentation: "The Development of Ethnic Inferential Reasoning: Comparisons between Urban United States and Rural Highland Peru"

I am an evolutionary anthropologist interested in humans' adaptations to culturally structured environments. To this end I am engaged in two primary lines of research.

I am currently a postdoctoral research fellow in the Evolutionary Demography Group. As part of the Family Matters project with Rebecca Sear I am trying to explain cross-cultural variation in how different kin affect fertility and other reproductive outcomes. This research addresses both within- and between- population effects of kin, and the extent to which ecological or cultural institutional factors change the former.
